Site Blocker is a Chrome extension that blocks websites you choose and redirects them to a motivational "Stay Focused" page. This policy explains what data the extension processes and why.
Site Blocker only stores the list of domains you choose to block, plus optional lock timestamps (if you set a commitment lock), your selected interface language, and your Pro license status if you upgrade. No browsing history, page content, keystrokes, or personal identifying information is collected.
Site Blocker uses Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API together with runtime-requested, per-site permissions. When you add a domain to your block list, the extension asks Chrome for permission to access that specific domain only (via chrome.permissions.request) — not a blanket permission for all websites. If you remove a site from your block list, that permission is released. The extension does not read page content, track browsing history, or transmit any visited URLs to a server.
All data described above is stored locally in your Chrome browser via chrome.storage.local. It never leaves your device.
If you purchase the Pro upgrade, entering a license key triggers a single request to Gumroad's license verification API (api.gumroad.com) to confirm the key is valid. Gumroad also independently processes payment information as the payment provider for the purchase — this happens on Gumroad's own checkout page, not inside the extension. No other third-party services, analytics, or advertising SDKs are used.
Site Blocker does not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, beyond the Gumroad license verification described above.
You can remove individual blocked sites at any time from within the extension. Removing the extension deletes all locally stored data automatically.
